10 Reasons Not to Miss the 2022 Spring Family Egg Hunt

The birds are chirping again and flowers are slowly starting to peek out from the ground which can only mean one thing…SPRING IS HERE! And that means it’s time for the Spring Family Egg Hunt on April 2 at Avila University.

Here are 10 reasons why we think you should join in the celebration with us.

10. The (Mostly Empty) Eggsbaby picking up eggs at egg hunt

Forget those tiny plastic trinkets from eggs that end up in the trash, your kids will hunt our eggs and then turn them in for curated bags of fun and age-appropriate items. Bags will be filled with goodies from Hallmark, McDonalds’s Kansas City, The Pencil Grip, Russell Stover Chocolates, US Toy, Zaxby’s and more!

9. The Giveaways

Hidden inside eggs around the hunt are our golden tickets. If your kiddo finds one of those they are the winner of one of our many fabulous prizes. They’ll have a chance to win passes to Wonderscope or the Kansas City Zoo, a family pack of tickets to a Kansas City Current game with fun merchandise to sport while you’re there. One of many fun board games from US Toy, prize packs of outdoor toys from Waboba and so much more!

8. The Games

Our wonderful sponsors will be on hand hosting fun at every turn. Step right up to Sweet Tooth Pediatric Dentistry’s booth for a fun carnival throwback with a cakewalk filled with sweet treats you can take home and enjoy. Zaxby’s will be hosting lawn games for prizes and more fun can be found at the Avila University, The Goddard School and Urban Air booths.

7. The Crafts

You’ll have plenty of cute photos to choose from from the Egg Hunt to put in the new picture frame you’ll make at the Fry Orthodontic Specialists’ booth. Take part in coloring in a huge mural together at Goldfish Swim School.

6. The Fun

Beyond the games and crafts you can play instruments at the School of Rock Blue Valley’s instrument petting zoo, grab a super cool balloon animal from LeBlanc & Associates Dentistry for Children and mix up some delicious juice blends and mocktails with the author, Rebekah Iliff. For an extra fee, pick up a copy of her new book “Champagne for One.”

5. The Munchies

You can work up a hunger, so Zaxby’s will be feeding everyone delicious Chicken Nibblers and our friends at the Roasterie Coffee will make sure your little ones get some yummy lemonade to quench their thirst and keep you well-caffeinated with a selection of both their hot coffee and cold brew!

3. The Stuffed Animals

We are excited to have at our event the new Teddy Bear Mobile JoCo KS. For an extra fee, your little one can design, stuff and create their very own stuffed animal to take home.

2. The Bunny

The coolest bunny around is back and ready for all of the family photos and selfies your Instagram feed can handle.

1. The Experience – Planned By Moms FOR Moms

If you’re like us, you’ve been to egg hunts before that are a little bit wild. We guarantee that every child gets a certain amount of eggs and that everyone gets the same fun bags of goodies. Everyone leaves happy, even mom and dad!
