5 Reasons To Meet Us at the North Pole

We’re excited to host A Morning at the North Pole on Saturday, December 1st for a fun-filled morning with Santa and Mrs. Claus pictures, brunch, children’s activities, holiday teacher gift shopping inside the North Pole Castle of Overland Park’s Little Sunshine’s Playhouse at Preschool.

Here are five reasons you won’t want to miss this opportunity to visit with Santa in a fun, magical setting!

5. North Pole Magic
As you approach the Little Sunshine’s Playhouse and Preschool castle, you’ll be transported to the North Pole. Once inside, the elves will help you navigate Santa’s workshop with your first stop, writing a letter with your wishes!

4. The Perfect Cozy Brunch
Come hungry! The elves of Heavenly Waffles will be on hand to serve up a delicious waffle bar with their light and healthier waffles. You can even buy the mix to take home! And any North Pole meal wouldn’t be complete without a warm drink. Kansas City’s own The Roasterie will serve hot chocolate and coffee and Louisburg Cider Mill will pour their famous apple cider.

3.  Get Your Shopping Done with Local Gifts
If you’re anything like me, you scramble at the last minute for the small but important gifts for teachers, coaches and other helpers in your life. Not this year! Our sponsors will be on hand with unique, local gift options in the $10-$15 range. Support a local business AND check off your to-dos!

2. North Pole Activities to Get You in the Holiday Spirit
Santa and his elves are busy preparing holiday fun for all ages! Each child will decorate a Christmas cookie, design a Nutcracker hand puppet, make Christmas ornaments, play in Christmas Tree Farm and Reindeer Crossing sensory bins, create a bookmark and have a chance to get his or her face painted – North Pole style.

1. Time with Santa and Mrs. Claus
The main event! Get your picture with Santa and Mrs. Claus in front of our gorgeous backdrop. Santa Joel is our favorite Kansas City Santa and with the Mrs. help, has been known to overcome the littlest Santa haters. You’ll have access to digital photos of your Santa visit with the rights to print the photos as large as 11×14, use in this year’s holiday card or whatever you wish!
