Kansas City will be on its biggest stage yet when it hosts the NFL Draft April 27-29. Kansas City families will have the opportunity to experience being part of this historic event! We had the opportunity to speak with KC Sports Commission CEO Kathy Nelson on the Kansas City MomCast podcast – listen to that here.

Below you’ll find all the ways your family can experience the Draft.

NFL Draft Experience

The fan-focused NFL Draft Experience will take place on the south law of the National WWI Museum and Memorial. Features include interactive sports exhibits, Play 60 zone autograph sessions with NFL stars, photo ops with the Lombardi Trophy and more!

Daily Concerts

Following the draft, local bands will perform. General viewing is standing room only and will be on a first-come first-served basis on the North Lawn of the National WWI Museum and Memorial.

Performances will be streamed in full on NFL.com/DraftConcertSeries and live on NFL Facebook and YouTube pages each night. Portions of the performances will also be televised across NFL Network and ESPN.

KC Food and Beverage Highlights

As part of the exclusive experience, fans can get a Kansas City-style elevated food and beverage exhibition. The cuisine consists of highlighted local restaurants and vendors in the area, and on the last day, a pitmaster showcase will take place on the North Lawn of the Museum and Memorial from noon to 5 p.m.

Transportation to the Draft

The main entrance is located at Wyandotte and Memorial Drive.

Parking Lot Options

Parking will be available throughout the Downtown area in the Crossroads Arts District, Central Business District, Crown Center, River Market, Westport and Country Club Plaza. For a full view of parking garages in proximity to the NFL Draft site, visit this interactive map.

Streetcar

Starting April 26, the streetcar stop at Union Station will be closed. The KC Streetcar can be taken to the Crossroads stop at 19th & Main for the closest entry access point to the NFL Draft Experience presented by Panini Trading Cards and Draft Theater.he KC Streetcar is FREE to ride for the entire 2.2 miles through Downtown Kansas City.

RideKC Bus

RideKC bus service is fare-free at all times. MAX is Kansas City’s bus rapid transit line that will run through the Downtown area to the 2023 NFL Draft presented by Bud Light site. The route will operate along Penn Valley Drive. After exiting the bus at the 29th St. stop, it’s just a 5-minute walk to Main Entry 1 to access the 2023 NFL Draft presented by Bud Light.

Park and Ride

Park-and-ride service will be available from the West Bottoms Garage, just north of Hy-Vee Arena, on April 27 and 28. Shuttle service from the garage to Summit St. will be available for drop-off and pickup. Pre-booking is required to ride the shuttle.  It is a 10-minute walk from the drop-off location at Summit St. to Entry 2 of the 2023 NFL Draft site. This will be the only park-and-ride option.

  • Rally House Kansas City has Draft-branded merchandise in stores now.
  • Charlie Hustle will have a pop-up shop during Draft Week at Crown Center. Check hours here.
Sarah McGinnity
Sarah grew up in Manhattan, Kansas (Go Cats!), she moved to Minnesota where she met her husband, Shea. Realizing how much she hated snow in May, she convinced him to move to Kansas City in 2010.
