Focus Pointe Global Offers Moms an Opportunity to Earn Money, Shape Products

This post is sponsored by Focus Pointe Global, an opportunity for moms to be heard and earn extra income.

No matter how much joy we find in parenting, at some point all mothers can relate to the feeling of being overworked and underpaid. As a fellow Kansas City mom, I’m going to let you in on a gig that’s made me feel not only heard but also well-compensated over the years.

As a research study participant with Focus Pointe Global (FPG) over the years, I’ve provided feedback on topics ranging from diapers to pizza to ice cream. Yes, I’ve been given free diapers and been paid to use them on my child for several weeks. And, I’ve sat down to eat, been asked to share my opinion about said tasty food, and then received a pre-paid debit card for my time. I don’t know about you, but this is a scenario as far from everyday reality as I could possibly get!

Sharing your opinions with FPG is a fun, no-strings-attached opportunity for moms with flexible schedules to earn a little extra cash to help shape the future of products that matter to them. Here’s how it works.

A wide variety of clients including major brands seek the help of FPG in researching how to make a product or service better for consumers. Studies topics can range from diapers to peanut butter, from cell phones to utility service, and everything in-between. Any product that you use as a busy mom has gone through market testing, so why not join in the fun?

Focus Pointe then recruits consumers who fit the client’s study parameters by collecting some basic profile information. To begin participating with FPG, you’ll create a login here, sharing your demographic information and interests. When the company has a study that may be a good fit for you, you’ll be asked to complete a pre-screener via email or through their app, FPG POV. Based on the information you share on the pre-screener, you may receive a follow-up phone call to confirm your answers and availability.

Once you’ve been selected, participation can take place in a variety of formats, both in-person or online. You may be asked to take part in a focus group, one-on-one interview, taste test or product-use test at the company’s Kansas City, Kansas headquarters on Ward Parkway and Wornall. Or, as with the diaper studies, you may pick up a product to use for a set period of time, providing specific documentation and feedback along the way.

Alternatively, you may never visit the facility, participating instead from the comfort of your own home via webcam interviews or feedback on private bulletin boards. While I haven’t been selected for one of these studies yet, I’m all on board for anything I can do from my home in my yoga pants!

Study compensation varies and depends upon the product being tested, your time commitment, and the study location. Incentives ranges from $75 to $200, keeping in mind that studies in which you receive a product or a taste test pay slightly less.

Have you ever participated in a study with Focus Pointe Global? If not, head to their website, focusgroup.com, to sign up or learn more. You’ll thank yourself next time you’re strolling through Target with a coffee and a pre-paid debit card in-hand!
