Grab your blankets, lawn chairs and snacks for a relaxing night of summer outdoor movies in Kansas City!

Tivoli Under the Stars at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art

Tivoli Under the Starshas shows very Friday night starting in June and July! Enjoy some of your favorite films in the unparalleled setting. Movies start 10-15 minutes after sunset. Check back for movies and showtimes.

Popcorn in the Park – Stocksdale Park

Moviegoers are encouraged to make an evening of it and bring a picnic, lawn chairs and blankets. Alcohol is not allowed in Liberty’s parks. Popcorn and water will be provided.

Movies in the Park – City of Lenexa

Pack your lawn chairs and blankets and bring your family to enjoy an evening under the stars at one of our Movie in the Park events. Dogs are welcome.

Outdoor Movies in North Park, Zona Rosa

Grab a blanket or lawn chair and find a spot in North Park (green space South of Dillard’s)! We will be showing new movies and classic summer flicks. All movies are free and open to all ages.Come early for food trucks, wine slushies and special movie-themed activities.

Sand Cinema – Longview Lake Beach

Gates open at 7:30 pm. Showtime is around 9 p.m. or dusk.  Social distancing protocols will be observed. Please, no outside food, drink or pets. Concessions are available.

B&B Twin Drive-In – Independence

Adults are $10, kids 11 and under are free. While you’re there, ask about their Backstage Pass Program, which offers some great perks throughout the year at all B&B Theatres. Visit their website for current offerings and show times.

Sarah McGinnity
Sarah grew up in Manhattan, Kansas (Go Cats!), she moved to Minnesota where she met her husband, Shea. Realizing how much she hated snow in May, she convinced him to move to Kansas City in 2010. Together they have lived in Midtown, Waldo, the Plaza, and now Overland Park. Sarah is mom to 10-year-old, Henry, 7-year-old Clark and 5-year-old Lucy. She has her master’s in urban administration and is passionate about making Kansas City a more equitable and supportive community. In between the crazy, she likes to drink coffee, run, hike, travel as much as possible, and experience all things Kansas City!
