KCMC Hosts Second Annual Hanging With Heroes Event

Kansas City Mom Collective was thrilled to welcome hundreds of people to our second annual Hanging With Heroes event in Central Park at Zona Rosa. We were excited to have Fry Orthodontic Specialists as our superhero photo stop sponsor. Together with our amazing activity sponsors, they helped make this event truly come to life.

Our Planet Anime Kansas City friends invited their superhero and pop culture posse to the event.Kids were thrilled to come face-to-face with heroes like Spiderman, Captain America, Wonder Woman, Rogue, Moana, Raven and more!

In addition, kids and the kids at heart were excited to see some of our childhood heroes like the characters from Star Wars, Ghostbusters and Harry Potter.

Community heroes from the U.S. Army, Kansas City Fire Department and Kansas City Police Department were on hand to answer questions and let kids hop into their vehicles and check them out.

Kids in attendance brought in more than 100 pounds of food donations to benefit The Children’s Place and Feed Northland Kids

Our attendees took part in games and activities such as superhero dress-up complete with capes and masks, superhero training, knocking out villains and more from our amazing sponsors including:
