1. Ampersand Design Studio Retro Kansas City Sweatshirt
I’ve had my eye on this sweatshirt since Ampersand posted it on their Instagram feed awhile back. I had been looking for a unique Kansas City sweatshirt that I could wear for Chiefs games, but also other occasions too. It’s warm, cozy and a fun, unique design by the two creative ladies behind Ampersand!
There were lots of options for decorative drinkware from etched wine glasses, coffee mugs, pint and beer can glasses from lots of different vendors throughout the store. My favorite were the stemless option from Emily Bordner’s new spinoff company, Half Full Drinkware. The glasses are beautifully etched with the Plaza skyline in gold. Bring these to your next holiday party as a great hostess gift with a bottle of wine!
Hands down, Nickel & Suede are my favorite earrings. They are super lightweight, come in lots of fun colors and textures, definitely make a statement and add character to any outfit! I love the texture and color of the Pink Pepper Cord and was recently gifted them at a My Favorite Things Party! Score!

I first encountered Untamed Supply Candles last year at the Holiday Swing at Union Station. I came home with one scent (Cinder) and have since bought two more (Firewood and Blue Spruce). Can you tell I like camping? Speaking of camping, my absolute favorite thing about Untamed Supply is that three percent of sales are donated to National Parks. Be still, my National Park loving heart.3. Kansas City Canning Co.
I would love to be a prairie mama who wears flowy dresses and grows and cans her own food. But the reality is that I kill every thing that I plant and I have neither the patience, nor the the attention to detail required for something like canning. Enter Kansas City Canning with their pickled and preserved goodies. They have cocktail mixes to boot. A smoked spiced pear shrub, for example. Yes, please! Plus all of their product designs are gorgeous.

These super cute candles in the scents of Boulevard Beer are amazing! Perfect for the beer lover on your list or the candle lover who is tired of vanilla scents. My fave was the Tank 7 and the Whiskey Barrel Stout.
I love this book! Not only does it have beautiful illustrations of our hometown icons and landmarks but it can be used as a bucket list for your family to visit all of Kansas City’s best spots! Use it to create your annual summer bucket list. Even better: proceeds benefit Turn the Page KC, which works to improve reading proficiency in KC kids.
After all that shopping, we had to take a little break. Thank goodness, Made In KC Marketplace thought of that, too! You can choose from an espresso drink at the cafe or chill at the bar and enjoy a wine flight featuring local winery Amigoni, local microbrew flight, spiked Louisburg Apple cider and lots of other fun cocktails featuring local breweries, distilleries, and mix-ins from Boozy Botanicals. We were feeling a little indulgent that night (and who doesn’t after a shopping spree) and treated ourselves to dessert from Ice Cream Bae KC. These are the most unique decadent ice cream combinations we’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting…and the ice cream is so smooth you’ll want to finish every bite.
