The North Pole magic started as guests walked in the door as Santa Jim greeted everyone with a Ho, Ho, Ho! The castle at Little Sunshine’s Preschool and Playhouse was decorated magically. Guests enjoyed chicken and waffles as well as a tasty hot chocolate bar and gourmet coffee options.
There was no waiting in long lines for a quick Santa pic – instead guests enjoyed themed activities! Our title sponsors The Pediatric Center at Overland Park Regional Medical Center and CareNow Urgent Care bough the fun with a snowman clinic, Santa hats and an activity wheel of fun!
North Pole guests also created their own holiday frames, colored a gigantic mural, created reindeer food and custom gift tags.
Then, they contributed to our community build of a LEGO North Pole while enjoying movie theater popcorn snacks, decorating their own holiday cookies and getting some festive face paint! Some of our elves reminded kiddos how to do their best brushing all that sugar off their teeth. And, they had a chance to try their hand at an inflatable golf game to win fun prizes to use during the school break!
Let’s not forget the main event – Santa Claus! Thanks to Amber Dawkins Photography for her amazing, cozy backdrop and skill in capturing the magic of the North Pole through photos.
Every family received one swag bag filled Seasons Greetings from our friends at Sourcepoint, The Pencil Grip, Zaxby’s, Purpose Play, Jack’s Kettle Corn, Hallmark Gold Crown Stores.
The North Pole visit concluded with our favorite part, a reading of The Night Before Christmas by Santa himself.
Thank you for joining us at the North Pole! We hope your holiday season is filled with fun and family!
