Music Together®: A Business Opportunity that Brings Music to Life

Music Together Pic01Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Music Togetheran internationally-recognized music program for children from birth through age 7.

Picture this: a job where you get to sing, dance, and play every day. (Sounds a bit like being a mom, doesn’t it? Only with more laundry …) This is what a career with Music Together is all about: helping children learn and develop music skills in a playful, organic way which can lead them on a path toward a lifelong love of music. Music Together business owners and teachers have a unique opportunity to help parents connect with their children in new ways while gaining confidence in their own abilities as musicians.

In March, we first introduced you to the work of Music Together – work (and a whole lot of fun!) taking place in more than 2,000 communities across the world:

Music Together has been introducing the joy of music-making to families since 1987. Over the past two decades, millions of parents, children, caregivers, and teachers have come to love their award-winning music and innovative, research-based curriculum. Their mission is to provide the highest quality music and movement experiences to as many young children as possible and to involve their parents and other adult caregivers, including early childhood professionals.

You may be asking yourself, do I have the right skill set to be able to own my own business? To teach others?  If so, then know that Music Together teachers range from those with extensive backgrounds in music and/or education to parents who have only recently rediscovered their knack for music. What matters is having an engaging presence and a love of children, as well as being able to sing in tune and lead group activities with confidence. That’s it! If this sounds like you, then you have the potential to be a successful Music Together teacher.

Music Together®: a business opportunity that brings music to lifeMusic Together is bringing their teacher training workshop to Kansas City October 11-13.
