Kansas City families welcomed a new decade and rang in 2020 family style at our fifth annual Noon Year’s Eve Party at Pinstripes.

Bowling was a highlight as always, as well as the horse-drawn carriage, sponsored by  Prairiefire. And one of our favorite parts of this event? Everything, including lunch, was included in guests’ tickets.

Our title sponsors Overland Park Regional Medical Center and CareNow Urgent Care brought the fun with Remember to Be Thankful mobiles and an activity wheel to remind us to be active in 2020.

Plus, we could not resist these fun 2020 hats perfect for photo ops all day long.

We enjoyed balloon art, a gigantic coloring mural, and who can forget our favorite Goldfish mascot, decked out in his NYE gear. We even made robots using our beginner coding skills as well as Ninja headbands. We built with LEGOS, showed off our puzzle skills, and explored sensory bins.

Sarah McGinnity
Sarah grew up in Manhattan, Kansas (Go Cats!), she moved to Minnesota where she met her husband, Shea. Realizing how much she hated snow in May, she convinced him to move to Kansas City in 2010. Together they have lived in Midtown, Waldo, the Plaza, and now Overland Park. Sarah is mom to 10-year-old, Henry, 7-year-old Clark and 5-year-old Lucy. She has her master’s in urban administration and is passionate about making Kansas City a more equitable and supportive community. In between the crazy, she likes to drink coffee, run, hike, travel as much as possible, and experience all things Kansas City!
