Kansas City families welcomed a new decade and rang in 2020 family style at our fifth annual Noon Year’s Eve Party at Pinstripes.

Bowling was a highlight as always, as well as the horse-drawn carriage, sponsored by  Prairiefire. And one of our favorite parts of this event? Everything, including lunch, was included in guests’ tickets.

Our title sponsors Overland Park Regional Medical Center and CareNow Urgent Care brought the fun with Remember to Be Thankful mobiles and an activity wheel to remind us to be active in 2020.

Plus, we could not resist these fun 2020 hats perfect for photo ops all day long.

We enjoyed balloon art, a gigantic coloring mural, and who can forget our favorite Goldfish mascot, decked out in his NYE gear. We even made robots using our beginner coding skills as well as Ninja headbands. We built with LEGOS, showed off our puzzle skills, and explored sensory bins.

Sarah is mama to 8-year-old, Henry, 5-year-old Clark and 4-year-old Lucy. After growing up in Manhattan, Kansas (Go Cats!), she moved to Minnesota where she met her husband, Shea. Realizing how much she hated snow in May, she convinced him to move to Kansas City in 2010. Together they have lived in Midtown, Waldo, the Plaza before migrating to Johnson County. Sarah has her master’s in urban administration. In between the crazy, she likes to try new restaurants, go for walks around the neighborhood, dig in the sand at Franklin Park and experience all things KC.
