You’re Invited to a Morning of Self Care for Your Heart and Mind

Moms Morning In event

Join us for a morning of self care for your heart and mind on Saturday, February 27.

We can all collectively agree that 2020 will go down as “the year we barely got by.” We took on more roles than we could handle, hid in our closet more times than we would like to admit, and tried to tell our families and ourselves that the new normal is not so bad!

Join us for a morning giving back to the one that needs it the most…. YOU.

A ticket for Moms’ Morning In starts with you receiving a curated box of brunch goodies and products for your skin and body to set the mood for ultimate relaxation.

After kicking off the program with breathing techniques and setting of intentions with Nicole Leth, yoga instructor and creator of My Affirmation Project we will welcome Laura and Leah from New Strong.

New Strong will be taking you through the reason behind why self-care is directly correlated to our ability to regulate our mind, bodies, and mood. We will provide hands-on strategies that allow you to have some me-time without any unnecessary guilt.

Give yourself the gift of taking a pause and soaking in all of the good stuff.

20,000 affirmation postcards were sent out anonymously in 2020 to humans from all over the world. Every month, Nicole writes words that her heart needed to hear — hoping that it would speak to other hearts, too. Every month, she addresses each one of these postcards by hand because it felt important and intimate and real. Sending these postcards helped her get through 2020, and she can’t wait to send more in 2021!

Sarah is mama to 9-year-old, Henry, 6-year-old Clark and 4-year-old Lucy. After growing up in Manhattan, Kansas (Go Cats!), she moved to Minnesota where she met her husband, Shea. Realizing how much she hated snow in May, she convinced him to move to Kansas City in 2010. Together they have lived in Midtown, Waldo, the Plaza before migrating to Johnson County. Sarah has her master’s in urban administration and is currently in the Kansas City Centurions program. In between the crazy, she likes to drink coffee, run, travel (but never to the same place twice), and experience all things Kansas City!
