The Corner Candleshop (formerly 5B), has cute gifts but we can’t resist their handmade candles. The General Store + Co in downtown OP is great for some of the best unique gifts including a Mahomes Prayer Candle, Charley Harper puzzles, KC throw pillows, and other home goods. Our very favorite collection though is the Holiday 2020 ornament line which includes toilet paper, hand sanitizer and a masked Santa.

The Kauffman Center for Performing Arts has many family friendly options throughout the year but we have our eye on the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix film accompanied by a life orchestra or the Mystery Science Theater 3000 Live show.

Our team’s favorite stop for earrings – Nickel and Suede – just opened a retail location on the Plaza, in addition to their Liberty location.
