Family Friendly New Year’s Eve Celebrations in Kansas City

2022 has to be our year, right?! Grab the noisemakers and your most positive outlook for the new year, and head to these family friendly New Year’s Eve celebrations!

Noon Year’s Eve at Legoland Discovery Center

Kids can celebrate the new year in epic style at noon on December 31 at LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Kansas City. The attraction is celebrating Noon Year’s Eve with a giant ball drop where hundreds of colorful foam balls will drop on families to bring in the new year! Instead of champagne, kids will get to toast with their juice boxes to bring in the new year as they enjoy this special experience.There is no additional cost to celebrate this event besides general admission. The festivities include:

  • Ball drop at noon with hundreds of colorful balls
  • Kids toasting the new year with juice boxes, adults with sparkling grape juice
  • Noisemakers to celebrate
  • LEGO Character meet & greet
  • Dancing and music

Noon Year’s Eve event will start at 11 a.m. and end at 1 p.m., with ball drop at noon.

Join us for an exciting Noon Year’s Eve party at Wonderscope! Come play for the morning, then at 11 a.m., dance and sing at a Mr. Stinky Feet (Jim Cosgrove) concert. At noon, we will celebrate 2022 with a confetti blast. Don’t miss it! This event is SOLD OUT.

Open Jump at Pump It Up

Open Jumps are open play time with massive inflatables spark their imaginations to run wild. It’s not only fun for the kids, but provides a healthy workout that burns off excess energy and helps keep them fit. $12/child $6/toddler. Space is limited to 40 kids per session. Noon Year’s Eve at We Rock the Spectrum

Join We Rock the Spectrum for open play, snacks and a noon balloon drop. $12/child.

Noon Year’s Eve at Science CityScience City Early Learning

Join Science City to ring in 2022! It’s your fun and educational destination to ring in the New Year with your whole family! Activities include science demos, dedicated stops for early learners, crafts and animal educator chats. Buy your tickets online.

New Year’s Eve Bash at Olathe Community Center

Ring in the new year with The Olathe Community Center while enjoying the pool, games, and activities in the gymnasium, dinner, and dancing with your friends and family. We’ll end the night welcoming 2022 with a family friendly countdown. Registration is $15 per person, $12 for OCC members. Free for 2 and under.
