Wonder Eve at Wonderscope Children’s Museum

Welcome in 2024 at this special event that includes crafts, face painting, balloon artists, and a confetti celebration to welcome in the new year at noon!

Wonderscope will be open from 9 a.m. – noon on Sunday, Dec. 31 for this special event. The museum will close immediately following the noon celebration.

Free for members. Admission tickets available at the door for non-members. ($10 for adults 16+, $14 for children 2-15, free for children under 2).

Noon Year’s Eve at Science CityScience City Early Learning

This year’s theme is Pajama Jam! Come dressed in your PJs, and prepare for a rocking good time! Activities include: abstract self portraits, fireworks wand making, sprinkle science, pop rockets, game night, face painters and more. A balloon drop finishes the day at 6 p.m. in Maze Park.

Free admission for members. For tickets, choose Dec. 31 when purchasing Noon Year’s Eve tickets.

Zoo Year’s Eve at the Kansas City Zoo

Roar in the New Year at the Kansas City Zoo! Why wait until midnight to celebrate the New Year? The KC Zoo is kicking off the party early with a countdown to noon! Some of the animals will also be receiving special themed enrichment.

Noon Year’s Eve at Blue Valley Recreation

Celebrate the new year with us! Our party is tailored just for kids as we welcome the new year in style. There’ll be time in the pool and the gymnastics area, as well as a cupcake station and plenty of noise makers. The afternoon will finish with a gigantic balloon drop! This event is 10 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. on December 29.

Kick off your NYE celebration early with your favorite four-legged friends at the Bar K Noon Year’s Eve Party, in partnership with Benebone! Ring in the New Year in a way only Bar K can offer! Don’t miss THE event of the doggy holiday calendar, where early birds (and early dogs!) come together for a Bar K tradition like no other.

Noon Year’s Eve Pajama Party Countdown

Come dressed in your comfiest pajamas to count down to the new year. This family-friendly countdown (at noon instead of midnight) will feature prizes, giveaways, a time capsule activity and more. Free admission; no tickets or registration required.

A New Year’s Eve event the entire family can enjoy with doors opening at 11 a.m. A tradition started a few years ago when we found out we were leaving our original location and wanted to celebrate with all our favorite people as we embarked on, what turned out to be, a very challenging time for our business. However, it has turned into a tradition we LOVE very much!
