Visit Santa at Crown Center

All aboard for a favorite holiday tradition at Crown Center!

Santa Claus will welcome the public throughout the holiday season for visits, wish lists and photos. A photographer will be on-site to take photos for a fee, or you may take your own.  Photo packages start at $12.

Open November 25 – December 24.

Please note that Gingerbread Village will not be a part of Santa’s Gingerbread Station this year.

Santa’s Bakeshop in Martin City
November 9

Join us this year in Martin City on November 9 for a holiday kickoff you won’t forget. We will have plenty of hot cocoa, treats, and photo ops. Pick up your passport at 4 p.m. and take a trip around the block to visit our local businesses. Once your passport is complete, bring it back for a FREE mini hot chocolate and to see Santa flip the switch at 6 p.m.

Santa’s Bakeshop in Lee’s Summit
November 17

We’ve transformed your favorite summer yard space at Station 7 into a winter wonderland. Mark your calendars for November 17 and help us open our new Bakeshop. Light displays, spiked cocoa, photo ops, and SANTA! This party kicks off at 4 p.m. at the Yard Bar at Station 7.

Santa’s Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops
November 5-December 24

Head to your local Bass Pro Shop for photos with Santa. Advance reservations are required in all locations and can go quickly.

Visit Santa at Oak Park Mall
November 18-December 24

Reserve a time online to see Santa at the mall. Visits are always free, photo packages and keepsakes are available for purchase.

Santa Saturdays at Park Place
Saturdays, Nov. 19-Dec. 24

Visit and take (free) pictures with Santa on Saturdays (1-4 p.m.) leading up to Christmas! Also, enjoy our Dickens carolers as they join to create a nostalgic holiday shopping and dining experience. Bring your kids, pets, friends and family for this free, safe holiday fun!

Our rockin’ holiday light experience is back and better than ever! You’ll be walking in a Winter Wonderland at the farm where you’ll take in all the sights and sounds of Christmas… Including a visit with Santa! Santa’s Pajama Jam at Wonderscope

Join us for a holiday event with Santa like no other around. Throw on your favorite festive jammies and get ready to Jingle Bell Rock around Wonderscope Children’s Museum of Kansas City for this after hours, family friendly jammie party that you won’t want to miss. Get tickets here.

Cookies with Santa at Mahaffie
December 8, 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.

During Cookies with Santa you and your group can enjoy cookies, cocoa, and of course a meeting with Santa himself! Each group reserves a 10 minute spot for their meeting with the big guy. Register on Mahaffie’s website.  

Santa Storytime at Ernie Miller Nature Center
December 10, 10 a.m.

Enjoy winter stories with a visit from a live animal and Santa himself. After storytime children will have an opportunity to visit with Santa individually and tell him what they want for Christmas. Parents, be ready to make memories with precious photos of your little one visiting with Santa. Children will enjoy a sweet treat after their visit. For more information call 913-826-2800. KCMC Cruisin’ with Santa Claus

Drive through the North Pole and enjoy games, festive treats and warm drinks, activity kits to enjoy as a family, and a little bit of magic from the safety of your car. Your journey will end with a chance to drop off your letter in our North Pole mailbox, and a special gift for each child from Santa himself! Get tickets before they sell out.

Mrs. Claus’ Cookies
December 20, 10 a.m.

Mrs. Claus traveled to Kansas to share her favorite holiday stories with you at Meadowbrook Clubhouse! Make a craft and enjoy cookies. Bring a letter or picture addressed to Santa Claus and she will hand deliver just in the nick of time! This event for ages 2-5, with an adult, is $7 per child, $8 nonresidents.

Sarah grew up in Manhattan, Kansas (Go Cats!), she moved to Minnesota where she met her husband, Shea. Realizing how much she hated snow in May, she convinced him to move to Kansas City in 2010. Together they have lived in Midtown, Waldo, the Plaza, and now Overland Park. Sarah is mom to 10-year-old, Henry, 7-year-old Clark and 5-year-old Lucy. She has her master’s in urban administration and is passionate about making Kansas City a more equitable and supportive community. In between the crazy, she likes to drink coffee, run, hike, travel as much as possible, and experience all things Kansas City!
