The 44th annual Ethnic Enrichment Festival in Kansas City highlights the cultures (more than 60!) found in the Kansas City metro with food, artistic performances, shopping, music and more. The festival, a summer fun favorite, runs Friday, Aug. 18, through Sunday, Aug. 20, at Swope Park.
Tickets and location
Tickets for the Kansas City Ethnic Enrichment Festival are $5 per person at the gate. Kids 12 and younger are free. The festival is held at Swope Park, located at East Meyer Boulevard and Swope Parkway in Kansas City. A map of the festivities can be found here. Parking is free.

Friday, Aug. 18, 6-10 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 19, noon-10 p.m.
Sunday, Aug. 20, noon-6 p.m.
Each country will be featured on the pavilion stage. The welcome ceremony begins at 6 p.m. Friday, followed by performances every half-hour throughout the weekend. Performances include dance, fashion and musical acts. Check out a full schedule and plan your fun here.

You can find a detailed KC ethnic festival menu online, but expect foods representing: American Indians, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Brazil, China, Colombia, Croatia, Cuba, Czech and Slobvak Republics, Ecuador, Egypt, Ethiopia, France, Greece, Haiti, Hawaii, Iran, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Kenya, Laos, Malaysia, Mexico, Norway, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Taiwan, Samoa, Scotland, Serbia, Sweden, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey and Vietnam.
At the beer garden, you’ll find Guinness Draught from Ireland; Hofbrau Hefe Weizen from Germany; Hirter Morchl from Austria; Pilsner Urquell , from the Czech Republic; and Prost Dunkel, Miller Lite, Boulevard Pale Ale, and Samuel Adams Wicked Hazy IPA all from the United States. Bottled beer and wine will also be available for purchase.
Activities for kids
Grab a passport at the admission gates to have kids collect stamps at each country booth. The first 100 kids to finish their passport book each day will receive a prize.
Kids can also visit the kids world tent from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday for fun activities. Come back for the instrument petting zoo from 6 to 8 p.m.
