Movies in the Park – City of Fairway

The movie will begin close to 8:15 p.m. Admission is FREE! Concessions will be available for purchase. 
 
Featured movies: Aquaman (5/10, Peterson Park), Mary Poppins Returns (8/9, Shawnee Indian Mission Historic Site)
 

Off-the-Wall Film Series – Library Rooftop

This ones for the moms and dads. Join the Kansas City Public Library for a Rooftop Series with Velvet Creme popcorn and local brews courtesy of KC Bier Co. at Central Library downtown. Doors open at 8 p.m. and movies begin at 8:45 p.m.

Featured movies: Spaceballs (5/17), Conehads (6/21), Galaxy Quest (7/19), Mars Attacks (8/16), Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (9/20)

Popcorn in the Park – Stocksdale Park

Liberty Parks and Recreation will provide popcorn and water. Moviegoers are encouraged to make an evening of it and bring a picnic, lawn chairs and blankets. Alcohol is not allowed in Liberty’s parks.

Movies in the Park – City of Lenexa

Pack your lawn chairs and blankets and bring your family to enjoy an evening under the stars courtesy of the City of Lenexa and Johnson County Library.

Featured movies: Flight of the Navigator (5/24, Electric Park); Space Jam (6/14, The Commons); Apollo 13 (7/19, Buffalo Meadows Park), Wall-E (8/16, Electric Park), Bedtime Stories (9/20, The Commons).

Movie Nights – Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead

Gates open at  7:30 p.m.; movie begins at dusk.

Silver Screen on the Sand – Longview Lake Beach

Cost is $5 per car. No outside food or drink is allowed, but concessions are available on-site. June and July events begin at 9 p.m. and August movie begins at 7:30 p.m.

Movies include: Mary Poppins Returns (6/14), Incredibles 2 (7/12), Beauty and the Beast – Live Action (8/2)

WeekEnder – Crown Center

Food trucks and local bands begin at 6 p.m.; movies begin at approximately 9 p.m. Note: Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase but may not be brought on-site.

Dive-In Movie at Fairway Pool

Doors will open at 8:30 p.m., with movie beginning after sunset. Admission is $3/person. Popcorn will be available free-of-charge, with additional concession items available for purchase. If you want to watch the movie from the water, you must bring your own floatie! Deck furniture will also be available for those who prefer to stay dry.

Downtown Movie Nights – Lee’s Summit

Bring your blankets, chairs, and picnics to the City Hall Plaza near 3rd and Green streets.

Dive-In Movie Night – Thomas A Soetaert Aquatic Center

Bring your favorite flotation device, or use one of theirs! All are welcome. Movie begins at dusk.

B&B Twin Drive-In – Independence

Adults are $10, kids 11 and under are free. While you’re there, ask about their Backstage Pass Program, which offers some great perks throughout the year at all B&B Theatres.
