Professional Bull Riding is Coming to Kansas City

Cowboys and cowgirls grab your boots and Wranglers because Professional Bull Riding Team Series is coming to Kansas City! It is bringing the entertainment, excitement and heart-pounding adrenaline for fans of all ages.

In its inaugural year, the PBR Team Series is showcasing its elite new league featuring the world’s top bull riders competing in five-on-five games. Fans will be cheering on the Kansas City Outlaws (the weekend to be known as Outlaw Days), as they fight to be one of the finalists to ride in the championship competition in Las Vegas, taking place in November.

Unlike a traditional rodeo format, the PBR Team Series is an action packed, high-energy show meant to wow crowds with pyrotechnics and non-stop action. Watching these athletes compete is simply the icing on the cake. Smithville, Missouri native, Koltin Havalow, is a hometown rider fans will be sure to cheer.

Raising three young boys with her husband, Jake, has helped her to embrace the messy, wild side of life where love is expressed in bear hugs and body slams. Professionally, she can be found teaching classes as an adjunct professor in the areas of Business, Marketing and PR. She is able to provide her students with applicable, real-life knowledge as she draws from several years working in the corporate sector. “Free time” (ha!, what's that again?) is spent on an occasional date night to favorite local restaurants, reading blogs on everything from home design to politics, riding her sweet beach cruiser bike and thinking of ways to convince her husband to do yet another home improvement project.
