Tivoli Under the Stars at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art

Tivoli Under the Stars has shows very Friday night starting in June and July! Enjoy some of your favorite films in the unparalleled setting. Movies start 10-15 minutes after sunset. Check back for movies and showtimes.

MOO-vie Night at the Farmstead – Deanna Rose

We’re celebrating all things dairy at MOO-vie Night, with presenting sponsor Hiland Dairy. Bring your blanket and head to the lawn for a free outdoor screening of “A Bug’s Life” under the stars. Dive into Farmstead fun before the MOO-vie starts at dusk, around 8 p.m. It’s a dairy delight you won’t want to miss!

Movie in the Park – City of Lenexa

Pack your lawn chairs and blankets and bring your family to enjoy an evening under the stars at one of our Movie in the Park events. Dogs are welcome.

Movies in the Park – Theatre in the Park

Movies are $1, paid at the Box Office on site. Movies start between 8:30-8:45 p.m. Concessions will be offered on each movie night along with beer and wine. Patrons are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and snacks and enjoy the great outdoors at the beautiful TIP amphitheater!

Featured movies: The Super Mario Bros. (6/4), Despicable Me (6/18), The Little Mermaid (7/2), How to Train Your Dragon (7/16), Barbie (7/30).

Outdoor Movies in North Park at Zona Rosa

Grab a blanket or lawn chair and find a spot in North Park (green space South of Dillard’s)! We will be showing new movies and classic summer flicks. All movies are free and open to all ages.

Sand Cinema – Longview Lake Beach

Gates open at 7:30 p.m. Showtime is around 9 p.m. or dusk.  Social distancing protocols will be observed. Please, no outside food, drink or pets. Concessions are available.

B&B Twin Drive-In – Independence

Sarah grew up in Manhattan, Kansas (Go Cats!), she moved to Minnesota where she met her husband, Shea. Realizing how much she hated snow in May, she convinced him to move to Kansas City in 2010. Together they have lived in Midtown, Waldo, the Plaza, and now Overland Park. Sarah is mom to 10-year-old, Henry, 7-year-old Clark and 5-year-old Lucy. She has her master’s in urban administration and is passionate about making Kansas City a more equitable and supportive community. In between the crazy, she likes to drink coffee, run, hike, travel as much as possible, and experience all things Kansas City!
